Finished With Construction

Here are the post-construction pictures.  We apologize for the delay. 

We painted the exterior of the house off-white and the trim a charcoal color.  We also replaced the door with a double mahogany door.

We also got rid of the railing.

The trim work around the door is being painted this week (right now it's just primed).

New front foyer.  Need some good art here!

Living room awaiting its furniture.  Don't those new windows add so much more light?

Fireplace!  Note the stainless steel on the sides and top.

Dining room.  It's completely open to the living room (all walls removed).

This is where the swinging door into the kitchen used to be.  That wall also got shortened by a little bit.

The KITCHEN!!

I really love these Bar Stools.  They are modern with a pop of color.  They are from a company called Bend Goods in California.

This angle is cool because you see the big pendant lights (Restoration Hardware) and the range hood.  

Laundry room and pantry.  There is no longer a door to the addition and no more carpet!

Double oven and warming drawer.  This was one of my must-haves for the kitchen.  I guess Thanksgiving will be here.

Big, wide sink! And under cabinet lighting!

We widened this window a bit because it was our sole source of light for the kitchen.  They are also casement (vs double hung) windows.

Fridge and microwave.  Same dishwasher as before!
